Yellowstone National Park logged 958,706 recreation visits during July 2026, representing a 2% drop compared with July 2025's 975,109 visits. The park's monthly visitation report was released by the National Park Service. The decrease in overall park traffic may affect hunter access to backcountry areas, as fewer visitors can mean reduced crowding on trails and hunting zones during the summer months.
