Voyageurs National Park Continues Cattail Removal to Restore Wetlands

The National Park Service will continue its efforts to restore wetland habitat in Voyageurs National Park by removing invasive hybrid cattails. This project aims to preserve the natural balance of the park's ecosystem and will take place from July through October 2026. The removal of invasive cattails will help to maintain the park's unique biodiversity and ensure the long-term health of its wetlands.
