Tourist Dies After Vehicle Stuck in Death Valley

On August 17, Pierre Michel Formosa, 68, and a companion became stranded when their vehicle got stuck near Queen of Sheba Mine Road in Death Valley National Park. The pair set out on foot to seek assistance; Formosa later stopped moving and was later found dead.
