Tobin Roop Appointed Superintendent of Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and Curecanti NRA

The National Park Service announced that Tobin Roop will serve as superintendent for both Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and the adjacent Curecanti National Recreation Area. Roop will assume responsibility for overseeing park operations, resource management and visitor services. Roop brings 24 years of NPS experience in leadership, partnerships and major project management, which could help maintain healthy wildlife habitats and ensure sustainable hunting opportunities within the park system.
