Hunters and outdoor enthusiasts can once again access the Staircase developed area in Olympic National Park, which has been closed since July 6, 2025, due to the human-caused Bear Gulch Fire. The area and its access road, FS-24, are set to reopen on July 8, providing renewed opportunities for recreation and hunting in the region.
