The National Park Service announced a public comment period for the reconstructed fort at Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site. Four early concepts describing possible conditions and uses for the structure are now available for review. Anyone interested can view the concepts and supporting information on the park planning website and submit comments through Oct. 23. Public input will guide the fort’s long‑term management decisions.
