NPS Opens Application Window for Agricultural Permits at Buffalo National River

The National Park Service announced that starting Sep 15, interested parties can submit bids for Agricultural Special Use Permits that allow haying on designated fields within the Buffalo National River, covering parts of Newton and Searcy Counties. The application window remains open until Oct 15, 2026, and a total of 24 permits are available.
