NPS Invites Public Input on New Trails Plan for Gettysburg and Eisenhower Sites

The National Park Service has released a draft Trails Plan and Environmental Assessment for Gettysburg National Military Park and the Eisenhower National Historic Site. The proposal focuses on enhancing visitor safety, improving accessibility for all users, and creating better connectivity between historic landscape features.

The agency is asking the public, including hunters, hikers and local stakeholders, to submit feedback on the plan. Comments can be posted online through the NPS website during the open comment period, helping shape the final design before implementation.
