The National Park Service will hold its annual Founders Day program, titled "Found," at Homestead National Historical Park on Sunday, August 23 at 2 p.m. The event takes place in the park's Education Center and invites the public to learn about the historic tallgrass prairie ecosystem. Attendees will enjoy a guided walk, hear talks on prairie restoration, and discover the role the landscape played in the Homestead Act. The program is open to all ages and free of charge.
