NOAA Fisheries Celebrates Habitat Month with Restoration Projects

NOAA Fisheries is celebrating Habitat Month by highlighting its efforts to protect and restore habitats that support the nation's fisheries and coastal communities. The agency is working with partners on various projects, including a collaboration with the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation to restore salmon and steelhead habitat in eastern Oregon. Additionally, NOAA and its partners are launching a coral restoration initiative in the Florida Keys to restore reefs damaged by coral bleaching.
