NOAA Fisheries hosted a workshop to develop advanced technologies for assessing the health of marine mammals in the wild, with results available in a NOAA Technical Memorandum. Additionally, NOAA and partners are leading coastal recovery efforts 10 years after the Refugio oil spill in California, and scientists have set new records in coral reef surveys in the Mariana Archipelago. These efforts aim to advance the recovery of endangered species and restore damaged ecosystems.
