New Superintendent Takes Helm at Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas Monuments

The National Park Service announced Angelita Alvino as the new superintendent for Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas National Monuments. Alvino, who led the St. Croix national parks for almost five years, started her role on Aug. 23 and will oversee preservation and visitor programs at the historic forts.
