New Superintendent Appointed for Harry S Truman National Historic Site

The National Park Service announced that James Raftery will serve as superintendent of the Harry S Truman National Historic Site. Raftery succeeds the previous superintendent and will oversee preservation and public programs at the site. Raftery joins from Steamtown National Historic Site in Pennsylvania, where he was chief of railroad operations, adding valuable experience in managing historic transportation resources.
