Myakka Initiative Expands Habitat Work with Native Bird Boxes Partnership and Audubon Certification

The Myakka Initiative announced a new collaboration with Native Bird Boxes, Inc. to broaden its environmental stewardship in Myakka City, Florida. The partnership will install native bird boxes across public lands, creating additional nesting sites for local bird species. In conjunction with the collaboration, the initiative has achieved certification under the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program, recognizing its commitment to habitat improvement and sustainable land management-efforts that also support healthy game populations for hunters.
