Lake Clark National Park and Preserve has completed a landscape restoration project on the former fuel tank farm that sits beside the Port Alsworth Visitor Center. The work, funded by the National Park Foundation, replaced the industrial site with native vegetation and a more natural appearance. The improvements also include new pathways and parking enhancements that make it easier for visitors, including hunters, to reach the surrounding wilderness and trailheads.
