Fire Restrictions Now in Place at Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park has implemented fire restrictions due to increased fire danger

Hunters and visitors to Joshua Tree National Park should be aware that fire restrictions are now in effect. The restrictions, which began on June 15, are a response to hot and dry weather conditions and will remain in place through October 1, 2026, unless otherwise determined by park leadership. The restrictions apply to all areas of the park, including campgrounds, backcountry sites, and picnic areas.
