Hunters and visitors to the North Cascades National Park Service Complex should be aware that a campfire ban is now in place. The ban, which began on June 29, prohibits campfires or the ignition of any fuel in fire pits, fire pans, and barbeque grills throughout the complex, including North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake National Recreation Area, and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. This ban is intended to prevent wildfires and ensure visitor safety.
