The BLM announced approval of a plan to improve facilities and access within the Wedge Recreation Area, a public land parcel used for hunting, hiking and other outdoor activities. The upgrades include trail enhancements, new signage and additional parking to support recreation.
The agency also authorized the development of priority pad oil wells on the adjacent federal mineral estate, allowing drilling to proceed. Hunters should stay informed about possible changes to land access and wildlife patterns as drilling operations begin.
